How to save money by recycling Apple products

Apple is being asked to pay out more than $6 million in recycling charges, including $4.9 million to Apple Retail Inc., according to documents obtained by The Wall Street Journal.

Apple’s retail subsidiary, Apple Retail, agreed to pay the retailer $3.8 million in September and September of this year, the documents show.

Apple is also in the process of paying the recyclers $3 million to help cover the costs of the program.

The documents also show that Apple Retail is responsible for recycling about 50% of Apple’s recycled products.
